I began my career selling Apple products, then transitioned to testing digital services for a major German publisher. This experience highlighted the importance of strong UX, inspiring me to pursue it professionally.
Since then a lot happened: I've embarked on a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction, interned at both Google and Microsoft, and lived in the UK, USA, and Japan. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in User Experience Design and have earned certificates in UX design and AI essentials.
My experience at Microsoft and Google as a UX Designer has solidified my approach to UX design as a problem-solving discipline. I believe in a collaborative process that includes diverse stakeholders (such as PM, SWE, UXD, UXR, and UXW), ensuring that my concepts not only meet user needs but also align with business goals.
In the design process, an iterative approach is important to me in order to quickly determine, for example through usability or A/B tests, whether an idea works or not. According to the motto: "Fail Fast - Learn Fast".
The Master of Science in "Human-Computer Interaction" provided me with a deep understanding of emerging technologies. I gained practical experience by training, understanding, and utilizing (generative) AI models. I also explored the potential of mixed reality through hands-on experience with devices like Meta Quest 3, Microsoft HoloLens 2, and Apple Vision Pro.
